NGYX I.C. developped a very simple MS-EXCEL worksheet from which you can in a few minutes check out about   characteristics of PCR (or Sequencing, or ...) primers.

Important: Our approach is based on > 25 years of expertise/experience  in the design and use of functional primers ( > 10,000) over a broad range of Template Types, Experiments Specificities, Environments (QA/QC), etc. So we hopefully captured essentials to perform optimal design of primers.  BUT nobody is perfect!
